Current and Forthcoming Workshops

Next term the Write On creative writing course at the Ripple Project will be writing about food and drink.Come along and join this relaxed, friendly group to write about your favourite (and least favourite) meals, try your hand at creating a new recipe and write reviews of meals or eating places.
The Ripple Project's Write On – Food for Thought! course is free and open to all ages. It will run for eight weeks from 12.45 – 2.45pm on Thursdays, starting on 21 September at Restalrig Lochend Community Hub, 198 Restalrig Road South. Tea and coffee (and biscuits) will be provided and snacks can be bought from the Ripple Project cafe. City of Edinburgh Council Adult Education programme

Most of my classes are already fully booked for the coming term but there are still places on

Beginner's Birdwatching : Monday 10:00-12:00; 5 weeks from 25 September

I have also offered workshops for a range of organisations including Gorgie City Farm, Sharing Secrets Festival (Dalry Primary School) and Vogrie Country Park. I am available on a freelance basis to offer guided nature walks and workshops on creative writing, particularly poetry or writing inspired by nature. Poetry Readings

I have given public readings of my poetry and short stories including at Meadows Festival, Silencio, Ten Red and Edinburgh International Book Festival.
